As previously stated, the under-construction Scout Motors Production Center could also have the capacity to add manufacturing for other OEMs, whether within or outside the Volkswagen Group.
Any manufacturing for other brands would not replace manufacturing of Scout vehicles. One of the benefits of the site in South Carolina is that there is room to expand, giving Scout Motors the flexibility for how it wants to grow or supplement production based on market demands or prospective partnerships. Scout Motors appreciates the opportunities that growth potential brings, but the company does not have any announcements to share at this time.
