How can I confirm my reservation exists? I didn't receive my reservation confirmation email.

Steps to take if you didn't receive a Scout Motors reservation confirmation email, including how to verify your booking exists and access your reservation details online.

After completing a Scout Motors reservation, you should receive a confirmation email at the address you used during checkout. It includes your Reservation Number, selected vehicle details, and payment method. If it hasn't arrived, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Check your spam or junk folder

Confirmation emails from Scout Motors are occasionally filtered by email providers. Search your spam, junk, or promotions folder for an email from Scout Motors. If you find it there, mark it as "not spam" to ensure future emails arrive in your inbox.

Step 2: Verify the email address you used

The confirmation email is sent to the exact address entered at checkout. If you have more than one email address, try checking each one — or try logging into your Scout Motors account using each address to see which has a reservation attached.

Step 3: Log into your Scout Motors account to verify your reservation

You can confirm your reservation exists without the email by signing into your account:

  1. Enter the email address you used when placing your reservation

  2. Click SEND CODE — a one-time login code will be sent to that email

  3. Enter the code to access your account

  4. Click Account in the top menu to view your reservation details, including your Reservation Number

If you successfully log in and see your reservation under Account, your booking is confirmed — the confirmation email may simply have been delayed or filtered.

Step 4: If no reservation appears in your account

If you log in and no reservation is listed, it's possible the reservation did not complete successfully — this can happen if a payment was not processed or if there was an issue at checkout. In this case:

  • Check your bank or card statement to see whether the $100 USD (or $150 CAD) reservation fee was charged

  • If no charge appears, the reservation likely did not go through and you can place a new one at scoutmotors.com

  • If a charge does appear but no reservation shows in your account, contact our support team so we can investigate
